Of Colour

New Blog! Hello world! This is B. Armitage from your favorite band, Of Colour! It’s about time we got some sort of blog to document our adventures, huh?

So, there are plenty of things going on in our world. For starters, we have been working hard during rehearsals to write some epic new tunes. If you’ve been coming out to some of our recent shows, then you’ve heard some early versions of these songs. As much as we all love The Auriga EP, we want to blow it out of the water with our next release.

We are planning another 4 song EP, which we will begin and complete recording in November. The songs so far have a much bigger, more anthemic feel than our previous work. The latest one we have been working on will definitely turn heads, as we’ve never done anything quite as hard-hitting before. Since so many people have been asking us to get it out on Itunes, a re-recorded version of Halo District will be going on there as well.

Our myspace is getting completely re-designed in November as well, and some beautiful photos done by Joshua Hoffman will be going on there. We are also shooting a video with Jason Arthurs for As The Night Explodes that we are all super excited about.
